Alright, let's take a look at our winners.

Week 5: Bullldogs Rule!  Congrats!  Butt kicking right there, it was over Sunday afternoon....

Week 6: Studmonkey!  Hey, congrats!  May I point out that I was 5th???  I know, right??  Your Fearless Leader, celebrating a dominating 5th place finish.  I've totally given up on the Cowboys, and even that hasn't helped my picking....  We had the Memorial Moment of Silence for the Cowboys Season weeks ago.... Apparently Jerrah didn't get the memo....

Week 7: Smitty201!!  I TOLD you guys to look out....   I toldja!  You wouldn't listen....  That's okay, live & learn....  Lurking.... 5th for the Season....  I guess I'd be remiss if I didn't say that DJS26, Studmonkey, and Elusive are your leaders in the clubhouse.....  DJS has probably moved twice since my last blog, so, maybe the money will go unclaimed.....  And Elusive is permanently installed at the Butler Inn, hitting on that bartender.....  So who knows....

Game is getting ready to start.  I see this commercial, not only does this guy marry a Bears Fan, but there appears to be some disagreement about whether or not to raise this kid as a Packer fan or a Bear fan....  Are you kidding me??  Who marries a Bears Fan???  Who allows their offspring to be raised as a Bears fan???  Good God, call social services.....

Week 8: Bulldogs Rule!  omfg, again???  Nah, nice job man.  Nice.  Hey, Erin07 was second, by 1 point, and I was 3rd (3rd!!!) myself, by 2 points.  Just sayin.  Actually, Erin07 and I were at a rifle range all day Sunday, and saw no football.....  I'm not gonna speak for Erin07, but maybe I need to stop watching games....  I'll just, wax my truck or something, I dunno....

See that??  That's a 9-shot group, under an inch....  Center of the Prairie Dog....  That's how we do it....

Cheerleader Update:

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, despite their season being completely over, continue to exhibit Cheerleader Professionalism and cheer for the team....  Very nice.

I can't find a Bengals Cheerleader picture....  No wonder I had no idea they had cheerleaders....  Anyways, they continue to be undefeated....  Despite my snarky comments a month ago....  Let me state clearly for the record, I CANNOT WAIT to wager against Cincy in the Playoffs.  I can't wait.  I hope they're 16-0 when they lose as 12 point favorites....

Anyways, should we try a little live blogging, during this Packer game???  Sure, why not....

So, we start off with no D whatsoever, and a quick 7-0 deficit.... How nice....  Ugh.  Dom Capers was fired, wasn't he???  No???

Diamond commercial....  It must be the holiday season, the diamond commercials are ramping up.  Some kind of best friend and love of your life ring....  Is this 2 rings?  I'm confused.  Looks like 1 ring, with 2 diamonds...  Hmmm...  Let's move on....

Wow... 3rd and 16, we allow a 56 yard pass play....  Ouch.  Unreal.  Could we get security to remove Dom Capers from the building???

Ensuing kickoff, ball is going out of bounds....  And Hyde fields it????  Why??  omg, he doesn't even get to the 15 yard line....  Coulda had it at the 40....  Shoulda fired our special teams coach.  Hold on, we did fire our Special Teams coach, this is a new guy.....  pffff!

Moving right along....  Punt, ensuing possession, Cam completes a 50 yard bomb, unreal throw and catch.  As much as it pains me, the Packer defender had blatant Pass Interference on that, he was tackling the dude, who somehow made the catch anyways....  Unbelievable catch, truly.  I'm shocked there was no flag.

Moving along.... Cam overthrows an open Greg Olson....  Bizarre, Cam has looked great.  Drive ends in a Field Goal....  Super lucky to avoid a TD there....  Hey, we're only down 13!!

Lacy fumble.... Triple Ugh!  He's gaining no yards, and now he's fumbling....  Seriously, if he's still hurt, keep him off the field....  This is not helping....

BTW, I see last month, I pointed out how mmuch I enjoyed Carlos Gomez's Homer against the Yankees.  Look, when you are a fan of a AAAA Baseball Team like The Brewers, all you can do is root for the players who came through here to have great success wherever they go on to, in the actual major leagues.  So, I have to say, it warmed my heart a little bit, to see Ned Yost win the World Series....  Nedly!  A World Series Champion!!!  Hahahah!  Nice job man.   Hey, when he came here, we were a complete embarrassment.  Complete.  He made a real baseball team out of us.  Maybe we didn't win it all, but, at least we were respectable...

Ahem.  Do we have to go back to this game??  I guess we do....

Un frickin believable....  Carolina misses the Field Goal.  Another gift.  We're getting out asses kicked, but yet, it could really be much worse....

Random observation by Troy Aikman of Fox Sports: "Aaron Rodgers has no chance here.... I don't know what this Offensive Line is doing here...."  Neither do we, Troy, neither do we.....

Aaaannnnddd, Masthay gets off a 26 yard punt.  Nice job on special teams there....

Random Toy Aikman observation, coming out of commercial: "Carolina has had 7 possessions, they've scored on 5, and it really should have been 6, with the missed field goal...."  True.  But actually Troy, it should have been 7.... If that throw to Hardy is any good at all, it's a TD, he's wide open....  so yeah.  The Packer D has stopped nothing.

Throw to Cobbb for a first down.  We needed that like Oxygen.  Our offense, aside from the one TD drive, has done zero.

Time running out, Rodgers sacked, a total whiff on a block by Linsley....  So much for the first half.  Panthers 27, Packers 7.  We're getting our teeth kicked in, in Carolina.  Mike McCarthy, pick up the white courtesy telephone.....

Hahaha!  This is not good.  going to halftime, Curt Menefee comes out of the break and says "things are going from bad to worse for the Packers....

Back from halftime....  omfg, a huge TD pass to Randall Cobb!!!!  Is there hope here????  Probably not, but it was great to see some life in this offense....

The immortal Brian Bulaga, beaten like a drum, Rodgers hit as he throws....  This O Line has no answers...

Finally saw a Draft Kings commercial.... I wondered where they went....

Minnesota, pulling out another miracle win....  Don't look now, but we are now tied with Minnysoda in the NFC North......   (barfs in wastebasket).

Well, Studmonkey, Gregslo, FloridaBoys, and Smitty201 appear well positioned at this moment....  I see Indy is getting all over the Broncos, at this point.....  Hmmm.  Everybody near the lead has Denver, so I guess it doesn't matter much.

Studmonkey and Halftag have Dallas tonight....  That's not a good decision.  This is coming from a Dallas fan.  They're not winning, okay....  As much as it pains me, the season is over....

Holy crap, Luck TD pass.  Indy 17, Denver nothing....  And we had no answers for this Denver team....  I'm getting a bad feeling here.....

Forza Horizon 2 Update:

Wait, that's not Mad Tyte JDM....  That's a Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG Black Series.....  Haha!  Nice ride.  If you like insane Coupes with V12 motors and close to 700 horses...   Fun game.  I see next week, the "professional" XBox One Controller comes out....  Not cheap, but....

Week One: KCAMOSY.  Nice job!  Week one is always tough, you just have no idea...

Week Two: DJS26.  Week two was a mess, but, DJS stepped in less crap than the rest of us.  One of only 5 people to take Dallas....  Against Philly, no less...  Haha!  It already seems kinda quaint, that we thought The Eagles might be a good team....

Week Three: ELUSIVE.  Nice job!  He's actually leading the season, at the moment, by the slimmest of margins....  What a week.  1 wrong.  I'm in another pool, it's like a 3 way pool, but one component of it, is a confidence pool, just like this....  There's like 60-some people.  133 would have won THAT pool.... No small feat.

Week 4: DJS26 again!  Hey, congrats!  1 wrong for DJS also....  Holy Crap.  These guys are killing it.

So, we have Elusive, DJS26, and Studmonkey, who are running away from us, for the season....

As your Fearless Leader, I'm hanging back, for the moment.  I'm pacing myself.  It's a long season.  I gotta save something for the end....  I see Smitty201 is lurking near the lead.... Be afraid, guys, be very afraid....

Cheerleader Update:

Bengals Cheerleaders help us celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness.....  I didn't even know they had cheerleaders.....

Supposedly they are 4-0.  Not to worry, they will lose their first playoff game no problem.  I already can't wait to bet the opponent heavily....

Speaking of betting, I hit both my Baseball futures.  Brewers Under, Diamondbacks Over.  Neither was close.  So that was nice.   Brewers are back to being a AAAA Farm Team.  I did see Carlos Gomez go ya-ya vs the Yankees in the absurd and ridiculous 1 game playoff....  162 games, and a 1 game playoff???  Does anyone else see the raging absurdity there, or is it just me??  Probably just me....  Anyways....

Cardinals cheerleaders are in fine form, I see....  If Carson Palmer can stay healthy, look out....  I do that same drill prior to Trapshooting Season, I stand on 1 foot, I stand on the other foot.....  What a coincidence...

Another delightful day in South Florida, the Dolphins cheerleaders take the field...  Joe Philbin, gone, see ya....  Only 4 games in.  And their new coach breaks out the Oklahoma Drill.... omg, Greg Schiano, part 2....  Place a call to Tampa, ask them how THAT little experiment turned out.... ugh.  Gross.   I sorta hoped Philbin would do well, he was an above average offensive coach with the Packers...  oh well.

A quick Hot Seat Watch: Chip Kelly probably should just hold onto his next couple house payments....  Mike Pettine better figure out a way to win a couple football games pretty quick here.....

I would say Tom Coughlin, as always, but, a contact close to the Giants Organization tells me that the Mara Family will never fire him.  He will be allowed to resign on his terms.....  So, skip him, I guess....

Speaking of the Mara Family, the lovely and talented Kate Mara is in "The Martian"...  Of course we all remember her from the classic film "Shooter"....  Wait, what??  Some of you didn't see "Shooter"???  How dare you....  Don't even talk to me....

Bad QB Update: Bears fans never liked Smokin Jay Cutler like they do now....  Not after Jimmy Clausen's epic performance!  hahahahahah!  All punts!  Not even a kneel down to end a half!  Unbelievable....  Their 3rd stringer is the aptly named David Fales....  Yikes.   GM Malpractice, right there....  You have to have some kind of viable backup somewhere.....  Packers found that out the hard way....

Backup QB Update:

Okay, I've had a lot of fun over the years claiming that Backup QB is the greatest job in the Universe....  And, I'm inclined to stick with that.   My premise all along has been, you hang around, get paid a lot of money, and, if you do have to go into a game, if you are basically competent, the fans love you.

Jimmy Clausen, uhhh, was not competent.  But the checks still cash, I will note...

For at least a year now, I have felt that Charlie Whitehurst was leading the most charmed life of any NFL Backup.   He's also the son of former Packer David Whitehurst, but we won't hold that against him....  btw, Charlie Whitehurt also has the dubious distinction of wanting the Punter's number, in Tennessee.  They agreed to arm wrestle for it, and he lost.  To the Punter.  I am not kidding.  (That story has since been denied by all parties, but....)  Whitehurst is currently with the Titans, in case you were wondering...  let's take a look:



I'm not gonna lie, I LOVE the 3-year hiatus, where he is out of football......  That takes mad skills....

For that amazing stat line, he will have earned $17.3 million dollars, by the end of this year.....  Heh heh!  Not too shabby.  20 appearances, 9 starts....

However, the title probably has to go to the Immortal Matt Flynn.  Former (twice) Packer Backup, who we all remember beat the Lions in a hard fought game week 17....

I hope everybody is doing great, and having a great summer....

Doesn't really feel like it, but, Football starts pretty soon....  I'm so desperate, I've been watching the CFL games on ESPN2....  And you know what?  It's good football!  It's fun!  I'm not kidding, stop laughing....

Anyways... I did finally get an XBox One....  It's a blast.  Working through GTA V all over again started to feel like work, so, I moved on to some spirited driving....

Some "Mad Tyte JDM, Yo!" action right there....  Supra Turbo Mk IV....  And yes, that's what it looks like... Graphics & views are unreal on the new game system...  That shot there I took at the airport, in the northwest corner of the map, where you can run the car flat out, and see what it's really got.....

Hey, Welcome to 2015!!

I know, a new low in blog posts....  I'm too busy.  Next year, things will be different.  I hope.

Merry Christmas from the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!  Hopefully, Santa brought you everything you wanted, and you had a good time.....

Cowboys are in the Playoffs....  We'll see how that goes...

49ers Cheerleaders seem happy, even though Jim Harbaugh is gone....  they must have forgot about that decade or so of wandering in mediocrity....  Remember Mike Nolan?  Yeah, they're trying to forget....  Although, a young unknown coach named Mike McCarthy was their offensive coordinator for a year....  Then he got hired by Tedly, to be HC of the Green Bay Packers.... so I guess that worked out okay for us, anyways....

Falcons Fired Mike Smith, too....  Hmm.  Not sure how I feel about that.  Is he the one who traded their whole draft for Julio Jones?  No....

Denver is back in the playoffs.... I do like the chaps, that's a good look for cold weather Cheerleaders....

Whoa.  the Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleaders....  that's a good look for warm weather Cheerleaders....  Not a good Football Team, but wow....  Ohh my.  I'm starting to see why some of our Florida Players are Jaguars Fans....

Ahem.  Anyways, let's recap our weekly winners, since I did not offer the congratulations I normally would have....

Badgergil - Weeks 1, 12, and 15  Nice job from a perennially fine picker of football contests...
Smitty 201 - Weeks 8 and 16.  Our Past Season's Champion, putting in another fine season.  More on that later.
Sears - Week 6.  Sears!  Long (long) time Player Sears, breaks a LONG dry spell.  Last time he won a week was Week 4 of 2011.  Over 48 weeks, no wins.   I sh&t you not.  Unreal.  So, Congrats to Sears...  Nice job man.  (He's probably pouring a Gentleman Jack right now, thinking "Has it REALLY BEEN THAT LONG??  I personally hate those dry spells... Feels like you might never win again....)
StudMonkey - Weeks 2 and 10.  New Player last year, won 2 weeks last year, 2 weeks this year.  And, more on him later....  I may just "accidentally" boot him, he's too good at this....

(Joking.... Nobody's getting booted for being too good of a player...)

DJS26 - Week 13.  Nice job!  DJS was second for the Season last year also, you might recall..  DJS26 is the guy who couldn't stand Florida, and moved to Southern California.  Yesterday it was -2 when I drove to work here....  I kid, but, seriously, if I was young, and had a choice, I would never set foot in the State of Wisconsin again....  At least in winter....
Sparky1987 - Weeks 4 and 17.  New Player last year, who won nothing, broke through this year.  Congrats!  Were you peeking at StudMonkey's picks???  Just wondering....
KCamosy - Week 7.  Nice job.
Patrick686 - Weeks 5, 9, and 11.  Pretty good year for me.  More on that later.....  Despite the Bears & Broncos costing me at least 1400 points this year, I managed to win a few weeks....

Big Headed Holy Rollers - Week 3.  Congrats!

Alright.... Well, despite the firings of Trestman, Smith, and Harbaugh, Tom Coughlin remains employed, and supposedly is "safe"....  He's 68 years old.  With 2 highly unlikely Super Bowl victories....  Why do you go on with this???  Do you REALLY want to stand on a cold sideline in New Jersey and watch The Fraud that is Eli Manning throw picks??  Really??  You have nothing better to do???  Get a hobby or something....  I assumed ownership would wander downstairs to his office and tell him "yeah, we think you oughtta retire...", but I guess not...

Anyways, the Season's Champions....

3rd Place: StudMonkey!  Yeah, see??  He's too good of a Player....  Kidding.  Nice job man!  Congrats!  You had me worried there at the end, you were closing....

2nd Place: Smitty201.  Congrats!  You had me very worried too....  Last year's Season's Champion, puts in another fine season.   Let's recap here for a second.  2012, Smitty was second for the season, losing to me by only 6 points.  2013, Smitty wins the season.  2014, Smitty is second for the Season, And was closing the gap at the end....   If we had a "mythical" 3- Year triple season champion, Smitty wins it....  What a 3 year run....  Unreal.

1st Place: Patrick686.  I know, a shocker.  I felt like I didn't pick that great, but I was 176-79-1.  In the last 6 years, nobody in our pool has picked 176 games correctly.  Not once.  The next 4 Closest are StudMonkey, with 175, also this year, and in 2011, Erin07 had 174 correct.   In 2009, Badgergil and Highz also had 174.  So, I actually feel pretty good about that.  Erin07 has really been beset by poor point management, over the years, looking at these numbers.  Year after year, he picks games as well as anyone, really, but his points are lacking....  Spend a minute on the points, Bro!

So, to those of you who have already sent along your congratulations, thank you very much, I appreciate your warm wishes and kind words.   I will now feel free to talk a lot of trash, and refer to myself as "Your Fearless Leader" for another year....

I know, heavy lies the Crown.  I will endeavor to persevere....
